TROPICAL S.A. teamed-up with Universities & Research Institutes to develop a novel, efficient and portable Fuel Cell Power System to meet the challenge of off-grid applications.
The product addresses the needs of leisure activities such as campers / caravans / RVs, boats, remote cabins, special vehicles etc.
It uses the widely available liquid fuels (propane, LPG) typically employed in such activities.
Hydrogen is extracted from the fuel in the fuel processor and feeds a fuel cell that can produce 1 kW electricity.
The system can also be configured to run in CHP mode producing simultaneously hot water!
